The Four Yogas w/Alan Haras

Traditionally, there are four main types of yoga – The Yoga of the Heart, The Yoga of the Intellect, The Yoga of Action, and the “Royal Yoga.” Each type speaks to the different parts of the individual, and helps each person to harmonize their will, heart, intellect, and lifestyle. Come and discover how these universal principles can inspire your yoga practice, and bring a sense of balance to your daily life. This 90-minute workshop will have a lecture format. Dress comfortably, and bring an inquisitive mind!
Alan holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from MSU, and has spent the last decade studying Yoga Philosophy, at home and abroad. A Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, Alan brings a sense of light-heartedness and spiritual depth to his classes.

The wisdom of yogic practices can help you design a healing program to manage your mood. Through the practice of pranayama (breathing) exercises, asanas (postures), and mantras (vocal vibrations), you will learn:

* practices to energize and Elevate a depressed mood
* practices to calm and relax an anxious mood
* to bring balance To your emotional body

The Annual Julie Run - 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run
